GIVING

Jesus is a giver, not a taker. From Him we receive life and breath, and through His death and resurrection He has defeated sin and death, securing our salvation by grace alone. Everything we have comes from God and belongs ultimately to Him.¹

Giving is therefore an act of worship and faithful stewardship. God calls His people to give - not to earn His favour, but in grateful response to the grace we have already received in Christ. As stewards of what God has entrusted to us, we give willingly and joyfully, trusting Him and placing Him first in every area of our lives.² Through generosity, the Holy Spirit shapes our hearts and conforms us more and more to the likeness of Christ.³

Every gift, whether a first step of faith or an expression of growing maturity, is used by God to build His church and advance His kingdom. God graciously works through our giving to support His ministry, care for His people, and help others come to know Christ and walk in the good works He has prepared for them.⁴
